- Summary
- Playwright Lanford Wilson discusses his work, career, and experiences in the theater with fellow playwright Craig Lucas. Wilson describes his introduction to the theater in New York City in the early 1960s, when he met Joe Cino, and soon afterward had several of his plays produced at the Caffe Cino. He discusses his work with the Circle Repertory Company, and such plays as The mound builders, Balm in Gilead, and others. Wilson also shares his views on several current plays by other writers.
