Nederlander, the chairman of the Nederlander Organization and one of the largest live theater owners and producers in the United States, talks about the Organization and Broadway shows, musicals and plays, that he produced, such as Annie, Peter Pan, and others. He covers various other topics, such as his visit to Russia as a result of which he succeeded in organizing concert tours of the Bolshoi Ballet and the Moiseyev Ballet in the United States; and the misunderstanding between theater owners and theatrical unions. He also talks about his relationships with friends and colleagues such as George Steinbrenner with whom Nederlander and his brothers purchased the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball in 1973.
