Jack O'Brian announces Jan Peerce's upcoming benefit recital at Carnegie Hall, New York, N.Y., dedicated to the Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe, an assistance group that Peerce headed to be held [January 22, 1982]. Also includes interview with Peerce in which he talks about his career as an operatic tenor that he started as a cantor and finished on the operatic and Broadway concert stages, his jewishness, and explains the purposes of the concert.
