Morgan, which states that though 'The bookseller who purchased these loose papers [presumably Wilcox], fancies he has good grounds to believe they appertained to the late ingenious Mr. George Sale, . yet not a syllable of this was his writing'.
  • Morgan claims responsibility for 'in all about a fourth of the whole'.
  • This issue lacks a dedication and has an initial advertisement leaf which states that 'These short memorials . was [sic] design'd, and begun to be translated into English, by the late ingenious Mr. George Sale'.
