Summary
  1. The Dorothy Mosheim television slides and ephemera document television productions from 1944. Color photographic slides make up the bulk of the collection. The majority of the materials document The Boys from Boise, which was broadcast by the DuMont Television Network's New York City station, WABD, and presented by Esquire magazine. The Boys from Boise is identified as the first full-length televised musical comedy. The collection contains slides from the production, a program, a promotional booklet, and two clippings. The collection also contains slides from Television Follies of 1944 and a costume show titled Yesterday, both produced by DuMont, as well as some unidentified slides labeled "Fiesta," "Western," and "Rendezvous." Some of the unlabeled slides may depict commercials.
