  • Edited by Martin Link, member of the hippie drag-queen troupe the Cockettes, an associate of San Francisco Renaissance poet and collagist Helen Adam, and a lover of San Francisco Renaissance poet Jack Spicer.
  • Issue no. 1 subtitled The San Francisco Magazine of Livestock ; issue no. 2 subtitled Pregnant Cow Issue ; issue no. 3 subtitled The Magazine of Afro-Judeo Culture.
  • Issue no. 2 contains Robin Blaser translation of French poet Gérard de Nerval (1808-1855). A book of her Nerval translations would eventually lead to a rift between poet her and poet Robert Duncan, which is alluded to in the final page of the last issue, which prints three blurbs by poets of Blaser’s book, with the following blurb attributed to Duncan: “I'm going to re-translate ALL of Nerval.”
  • Issue no. 2 also contains brief remembrance of Spicer by “SMN.”
