Summary
  1. Parts 1- 2, 3 (11:00-21:58 minutes), 4 (3:08-20:36) and 5. Lewis Archibald, a journalist who wrote for the magazine "Downtown," interviews American actor, film director and producer Christopher Reeve. During two interviews (recorded in 1984 and 1981) Reeve talks about his film and stage acting career, and the roles he played in various productions such as the role of Basil Ransom in the 1984 Merchant Ivory film "The Bostonians" that was based on Henry James's novel of the same name, that was recently released; and the role of Nicky in the 1975 Broadway production of the play "A matter of gravity" and others. He shares his experience working with various film and stage directors and producers, and with other actors such as Katharine Hepburn ("A matter of gravity") as an actor. He also speaks about his experience as a director.
  2. Part 3 (00:00-11:00, 21:58-28:39 minutes). Lewis Archibald interviews English actor Michael Caine, who talks about his role of Frank Bryant in the 1983 British drama/comedy "Educating Rita" directed by Lewis Gilbert with a screenplay by Willy Russell based on Russell's stage play.
