Summary

Unidentified television journalist interviews Dave Kopay, American football "running back" in the National Football League, 1964-1972. Kopay talks about his career as a professional football player. Being the first professional athlete to "come out of the closet," he also talks about his homosexuality, and how it has affected his career in sports. After he retired from professional football as a player, he tried to start a coaching career, but was snubbed by professional and college teams because of his sexual orientation. He also discusses the topic of sports and homosexuality from different aspects: social, moral and ethical.
