A catalogue of a valuable collection of pictures, of the most esteemed ancient and modern masters, the property of a nobleman, brought from his lordship's seat in Bedfordshire; amongst which Are a most capital whole Length Portrait of King Henry Viii, by Holbien; a Portrait of Lady Clanerassill, by Vandyke, in fine Preservation, &c. To which, by permission, are added, a capital and well-chosen Collection of pictures, consigned from abroad, Consisting of the Works of the following much admired Masters, viz. L. Da. Vinci, A. Carracci, Dominichino, Guido, Guercino, S. Faratto, Morillio, C. Maratti, Lucatelli, Holbien, Rubens, Vandyck, Gonzales, Van. Uden, Jordaens, Snyers, Wouverman, Berghem, Cuyp, Backhuysen, Ruysdael, J. Steen, Weenix, Van Goyen, Linglebach, Mr. Stubbs, Mr. Barrett. Also, by Permission, will be sold in the above Sale, on Saturday next, at two O'Clock, Five remarkable large and clear French Plates of Glass, of uncommon Magnitude and Perfection, The Property of a Nobleman; The Whole to be Sold by Auction, By Mess. Christie & Ansell, On Friday, January 23, 1778, and the following Day. To be publicly viewed on Wednesday the 21st, and to the Sale, which will begin each Day at Twelve O'Clock.
