Summary
Robert Lindgren (1923-2013) and his wife Sonja Tyven (b. 1928) were dancers with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo during the 1940s and 1950s. They also performed in Broadway musicals. Their papers consist of contract agreements they signed with various dramatic and musical production companies from 1944 to 1958. In addition there is one letter from Tyven's sister Gertrude, also a member of the Ballets Russe de Monte Carlo, enclosing newspaper reviews of the company's 1945 American tour.
