Discussion 1: Christopher Wheeldon discusses why he started a new company at this time; how Wheeldon and Lourdes Lopez got together to form Morphoses; what are some of the challenges of running this company including the financial aspects. Discussion 2: Discussion of the collaborative mission of the company; Lopez talks about the differences between Christopher Wheeldon's choreographic style compared to her experiences with George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins; how Wheeldon works and teaches dancers as a collaborative team. Discussion 3: Lordes Lopez talks about giving dancers a sense of being in a company without having a full time salary; the company's collaboration with other choreographers including William Forsythe; and opening rehearsals to young people to help attract a new audience and to hear their thoughts on ballet.
