  • NYPL has an undated script for the play, "Lebedig un frehlikh, oder, Ṿi Goṭṭ in Adess : opereṭa in 3 aḳṭen" by Boris Thomashefsky, music by Herman Wohl. In Zalmen Zylbercweig's "Leksikon fun Yidishn teater", v. 1, p. 828, he notes that Thomashefsky presented on Dec. 25, 1921 his operetta "Lebedik un freylekh, oder, vi Got in ades" (music by Herman Wohl), in which he played the role of "Moyshe Leyb". Zylbercweig notes on p. 1183 of the same volume that Aaron Lebedeff played in "Lebedik un freylekh" (music, H. Wohl) on December 25, 1921, ". Note on drum and tympany part: "Standard Theatre, Toronto, Can. Dec. 25, 1925. Al Silverstein." On p. 829 of the same volume, Zylbercweig notes that Thomashefsky spent a half season as the manager of a Yiddish theater in Toronto, Canada.
