- David McCarty was a merchant of Coeymans, Albany County, New York, and a kinsman of Abraham Lott, the last treasurer of the Colony of New York under the British crown. Collection consists of correspondence, land papers, and legal records pertaining to the Coeymans Patent administered by Abraham Lott; papers documenting the mercantile activities of David McCarty and, to a lesser extent, Abraham Lott; and material relating to other real property in New York owned by McCarty.
