  1. The William Michael Rossetti manuscript material in the Pforzheimer Collection consists of writings and correspondence. The writings include: holograph drafts and notes for his 1870 edition of Shelley's poetical works, and drafts and proof emendations for the 1901 reprint of the Pre-Raphaelite journal, The Germ. The bulk of the correspondence is dated between 1883 and 1911. Correspondents include: H. B. Forman, bibliographer and forger; Elliot Stock, publisher of the reprint of The Germ; E. J. Trelawny, writer and adventurer; T. J. Wise, book collector and forger; and over a dozen others.
