Summary
[19]95 Shanghai International Ballet Competition which was organized jointly by the Communication Bureau of Culture Ministry, Shanghai Bureau of Culture and Oriental TV Station. 77 male and female competitors from 13 countries and regions including Japan, Russian, France, and Canada took part in the competition. French dancer Jone Boda [i.e. Joan Boeda] won the golden medal of Youth Group and Zhang Xin from Beijing and Liang Fei from Shanghai won the golden medals of Junior Group for man and woman respectively -- Office of Shanghai Chronicles, History on Oct. 7, 1995.
