- "Video seminar" in which composer David Shire and lyricist/librettist Richard Maltby speak about their musical revues Starting here, starting now, and Closer than ever, and offer advice for future productions. Maltby describes some of the differences in tone between the two shows. Shire, seated at a piano, plays selections from their scores. Audio excerpts from the original productions of the shows are played to illustrate specific points about them.
