Summary
Actors Fritz Weaver and Rochelle Oliver read from the correspondence of actress, author and teacher Uta Hagen. The first portion of the program is devoted to Hagen's correspondence with her father, Professor Oskar Hagen. Uta discusses acting opposite Paul Robeson, and other colleagues. The second portion of the program is devoted to Hagen's marriage to Herbert Berghof, with whom she co-founded the HB Studio. Some of the letters describe Hagen's experiences with the London production of Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?
