- The original oil painting by Antoine Pesne is held at Schloss Charlottenburg, Potsdam, Germany.
- Marianne Cochois, the younger sister of the actress Babette Cochois, is said to have danced at the Berlin Opera beginning in 1742.
- The French-born painter Antoine Pesne became the official painter to two kings of Prussia, Frederick William I and his son Frederick William II, known as Frederick the Great. His works included many portraits as well as the decoration of the royal palaces.
- Eugène Abot was a French printmaker and illustrator. He contributed reproductive prints and his own etchings to journals such as L'Art and the Gazette des Beaux-Arts.
