Summary

Two bust-length portraits of the Danish choreographer and ballet master August Bournonville, from the covers of the December 7, 1879 issues of the Danish periodicals Ude og hjemme and Illustreret tidende. Each accompanies an article written on the occasion of his death on Nov. 30, 1879. The article in Ude og hjemme, by Edvard Brandes, continues on the verso but is not complete. The article in Illustreret tidende is by Carl Andersen.
