Summary
  1. In the first half of the program (2:00-3:00 P. M.), host Steve Sullivan talks with the members of Jubal Trio about their upcoming projects and their 20th year anniversary of playing together. They play live in the WNYC performing studio. In the second half of the program (3:00-4:00 P. M.), host Steve Sullivan talks with three members of the Clarion Concerts Orchestra: music director Newell Jenkins, harpischordist/pianist Gerald Ranck, and violist/transcriptionist/music mistress Louise Schulman. Both Ranck and Schulman play live in the WNYC performing studio. Sullivan rounds out the hour with jazz recording excerpts performed by Gonzalo Rubalcaba ("Tres palabras") and Gerry Mulligan ("Israel").
