- Yurka directed and played the role of Gina in a production that opened Nov. 18, 1928, at the 49th Street Theatre, New York, N.Y., and ran for 80 performances.This script or one similar to it may have been used for that production but was not copyrighted until 1961.
- The title page is somewhat misleading in that the stage directions are not complete. There are music, lighting, and curtain cues, property lists, but the positioning of actors is indicated only sporadically.
