- Post-performance talk: Monk answers questions from both David Gere and audience members about the development, themes and imagery of Magic frequencies, the intricacies of the hocket piece in the dinner scene, the costuming of the work with imput from the designer Gabriel Berry, the tonal juxtaposition of Magic frequencies to her two recent works the Politics of quiet and Volcano songs, and the differences between the hocket in Magic frequencies and Hocket in Facing north.
