Summary
  1. On CD 1 (1st half of program, 2:00-3:00 P. M.), the program features the ensemble Ex Umbris ("Out of the shadows"), performers of 14th and 15th century music making their debut performance on Around New York. They play live a series of French, Italian and Spanish Medieval and Renaissance compositions. On CD 2 (2nd half of program, 3:00-4:00 P. M.), host Steve Sullivan talks with violinist James Graseck, who plays music both in subway terminals and in Carnegie Hall.
