  2. Book consists of 32 clear acrylic tiles (each 2 x 25 cm.) upon which the text is laser-etched in English and Persian, and 20 tiles (each 2 x 13 cm.) with laser-etched title page and colophon. They are sewn together with blue, violet and saffron-colored fishing line to form 4 leaves of slats, each resembling a window blind, the text on 2 leaves of 16 tiles each and the t.p. and colophon on 2 leaves of 10 tiles each. Each leaf unfolds in a different direction from a garnet-colored Lucite base, to lie on the reflective silver Mylar lining of the folding box housing the work. Size of unfolded work: 76 x 62 cm.
