Summary
A multimedia performance combining movement, music and video; employs foreign languages along with English dialogues, and brings inspirations from several cultures and artistic traditions. "An American soldier wanders through postwar Berlin carrying a mysterious package; a group of nuns discovers a baby on their doorstep in 17th century, France; a Minnesota family adopts a Laotian child; sexual charades between a Duchess and her lover are discovered during carnival in Venice; death does a soft shoe. "Snow" tells these stories and more, interviewing them through time to create a tapestry of human existence that is visually stunning, emotionally resonant and laced with dark humor" -- Program.
