Two one-act operas under the collective title Love in two countries. The first, That pig of a Molette, is an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's short story Ce Cochon de Morin and is set in Paris, while the second is an adaptation of Nikolai Leskov's short story A Slight Error, set in Moscow.
