Summary
The program starts with a brief interview with Rosalynn Carter who talks about running in the election campaign and her plans for the future. It continues with an interview with a 93 year old Blake who recounts his humble beginning as a young pianist in the "houses of ill repute" and episodes from his childhood and youth. Ervin Drake, president of American Guild of Authors and Composers, Boggs and Blake discuss problems composers experience with royalties and copyright and what legal steps Drake is undertaking in order to improve the existing situation. Blake performs Classical rag; I'm wild about Harry; and excerpts from Memories of you and Troublesome ivories.
