- Peter Wright's ballet Entwürfe für Tänzer, or Projects for dancers (music, Béla Bartók; scenery and costumes, Yolanda Sonnabend) was presented by the Stuttgart Ballet in 1964. According to reviewer Fritz Höver, its action suggested secret rites and ceremonies taking place at a temple.
- Yolanda Sonnabend was born in Rhodesia in 1935 and studied painting and stage design at London's Slade School of Fine Arts. She has designed for ballet, opera, and drama, and painted portraits of theatrical personalities.
