- Summary
- Frederick S. Lotto kept these diaries while traveling. One diary was kept between June and August 1902 while Lotto was on a Gaze Tour, beginning in Paris on July 7 and ending in Dublin on August 29. The diary begins with his departure from New York and is of particular interest because this was one of the first of such independent tours. Entries describe the tour, which included stops in Rome and Cairo, as well.
- The second diary was kept in between January 19 and May 24, 1924, in the log book of the S.S. Resolute on the Raymond-Whitcomb World Cruise. It contains travel notes and observations.
