Summary
  1. A multimedia performance piece portraying through song, dance, and spoken text critical moments in Chinese-Western relations, focusing mainly on the history of Chinese immigrants and their descendants in the United States, especially the discrimination and mistreatment they endured. Interspersed are personal anecdotes told by Ping Chong, himself a Chinese-American. Part two of a trilogy dealing with East-West encounters, comprised also of Deshima and After sorrow.
