• Illustrations: 9 prints : etching, b&w ; full page (plate mark 20 x 17.5 cm.). Each etching depicts 6 staves of music in Monk's personal notation.
• With letterpress title page, artist's statement (leaf [2]) and colophon. Three blank leaves, not counted in collation, precede and follow artist's statement and precede colophon.
• "I have always thought that sound and space were inseparable so that one could visualize or chart out sonic impulses. Each of these etchings maps out or reflects an aspect of the human voice, a particular vocal world. Each etching can be sung or just enjoyed for the marks on the page"--Artist's statement.
