Unidentified radio host talks about the role of African-American musicians in foundation of a modern American musical comedy theater in the 20th century. He mentions such well-known names of African-American composers and performers as Eubie Blake, Noble Sissle and Lena Horne. Various musical excerpts performed by African-American musicians played during the program.
