  • Disc 1 (track 1, ca, 1:40 min.) to end of disc 1 in English: Yeichi Nimura and Aaron Avshalomov watch a (Chinese-themed?) ballet with music composed by Avshalomov. Avshalomov describes the scenes as they watch, and they discuss costumes and choreography. Disc 2 (tracks 1-7) is a recording of Avshalomov's music. The rest of the tracks are recordings of a radio broadcast of classical music. The handwritten notes on the original container read "Sept. 2, 1954. Avshalomov music the Soul of the Ch'in with his description & Nimura." The handwritten notes in the original container read "Important one. This is real description of Chinese ballet by Avshalomov & his music. Other side is just his music. Slow tempo."
