Summary
Charles Wuorinen begins with mentioning how music and dance were performed together in Antiquity and how it divided into differant art forms as time progressed. John Zorn discusses his music, the differences between his compositions, and music scores being reproducable objects that can be sold. Donald Byrd and Pam Tanowitz talk about how they used John Zorn's music to create their choreographic works, their thoughts about the music, how they decided to go with or against the music, and how they divided the music in order to begin choreographing.
