  1. Reverend Frederick Martin, British clergy and writer. Halkett and Laing identify three anonymous works by him: Notes on the Four Gospels and Acts of the Apostles (1838); Illustrations of the Doctrine, Principles, and Practice of the Church of England (1840); and A General Introduction to the Apostolical [sic] Epistles (1861). The birth and death dates used in this record are taken from the Univeristy of King's College catalog record for Martin's General Introduction to the Apostlic [sic] epistles.
