The panel discusses the history of The nutcracker in relationship to ABT, the new elements in this production, the snowflakes and pas de deux sections portrayed by children, the set and costume designs by Richard Hudson, how he came to work for ABT, his favorite part of ballet, images of the sets and costumes for this ballet, Ornsby Wilkins's history of getting to ABT, comparing and discussing Tchaikovsky's ballet scores, listening to Daniel Waite play sections of the score, and concluding with Kenneth Easter talking about his first rehearsal for the Russian dance.
