Ho Family Foundation Gallery of Buddhist Sculpture at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on April 28, 2009. The events included a panel on Buddhism and the arts, a performance titled A day of rare Buddhist dances, and the 2009 International Buddhist Film Festival. Joseph Houseal provides informational introductions to the performing groups and dances appearing in A day of rare Buddhist dances.

- Disc 1 (32 min.): Introduction by Robert Y.C. Ho, program director for The many faces of Buddhism and director of the Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation -- Interview with John Clarke, curator of the Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation Gallery of Buddhist Sculpture, who discusses the holdings of the gallery -- Excerpts from the panel on Buddhism and the arts; panelists included choreographers Lin Hwai-min, Kimsooja, Sanford Biggers, and Meredith Monk; their words are accompanied by performance excerpts from their works -- Excerpts from A day of rare Buddhist dances, featuring performances by Prajwal Ratna Vajracharya, Theatre Noh, the Drikung Kagyu Nuns, and the Dehimaduwa Bandara Clan -- Excerpts from the International Buddhist Film Festival, introduced by its founder and executive director Gaetano Maida, including film clips from director Richard Kelly's Donnie Darko and Kihachiro Kawamoto's animated film The breaking of branches is forbidden.

The performers are: Prajwal Ratna Vajracharya, a Tantric Buddhist priest from Katmandu, Nepal, performing the dance solos Mayanjala, Vajrayogini, and Vajrapani -- The Drikung Kagyu Nuns of the Samtenling Nunnery in India, performing Tantric meditation visualization practices: Mudra of Vajravairocana, Chod, Buffalo cham, Stag cham -- The Dehimaduwa Bandara Clan from Kandy, Sri Lanka, performing highlights from Suvisi Vivaranya, the dance ritual of the 24 previous Buddhas.
- Disc 3 (141 min.): A day of rare Buddhist dances, volume 2. Theatre Noh, a Kyoto-based company led by actor Shizuka Mikata, performs the plays Kayoi Komachi and Atsumori -- Avant-garde artists Lin Hwai-min, Meredith Monk, and Sanford Biggers comment on the relevance of ancient dance in today's world; their words are accompanied by performance excerpts from their works.
