Summary
  1. Dancers who performed with the Martha Graham Dance Company from the 1940s to the present day join in a presentation of From the horse's mouth, a performance series that showcases notable dancers in structured improvisation. As is customary in Horse's mouth performances, each dancer gives a short speech, usually humorous and anecdotal. The dancers in this performance reminisce about their professional and personal interactions with Martha Graham; those who joined the company after her death discuss studying her technique or performing her choreography. In the diagonal floor progressions, the dancers wear costumes from various Graham dance works.
