Summary
Morehead Patterson (1897-1962) was an American industrialist whose father, Rufus L. Patterson, invented the first automated cigarette manufacturing machine. He later became an ambassador to the United Nations Committee on Disarmament and to the International Atomic Energy Agency Negotiations, as well as chairman of the board of the Brookings Institute.
