- Summary
- Performer Carole Shelley discusses her career on stage and in films with journalist Don Shewey. She begins with her childhood studies as a dancer, describes her switch to acting as a teenager, and her first major role in the 1965 Broadway production of Neil Simon's The odd couple, which she reprised in the 1968 film version. She discusses working with Simon in his later play Broadway bound, her training in voice work for classical roles, and her more recent success in large scale musicals such as Wicked and Billy Elliot.
