Summary

1. Terry Moran reports on the AIDS epidemic in the African American community. In interviews with AIDS activists, doctors, and people on the front lines of the epidemic, the program paints a sobering and shocking portrait of the disease, and the failure of leadership that has allowed the epidemic to spiral into a crisis in small towns and inner cities across the country. Prominent figures such as Jesse Jackson, Calvin Butts and T.D. Jakes are interviewed. Peter Jennings contributed to the report.
