- Summary
- Set in the region of Maluala during the last century, a story about the slave rebellions of Cuba's early history as a Spanish colony. A camp of escaped slaves hidden in the mountain jungles struggle for land and liberty. While other groups decide to surrender for a promise of amnesty, the camp's leader Gallo senses a trap, and urges his to people fight on.
