• "This essay, consisting of the Foreword and Historical summary which Robert Graves wrote for his translation of George Sand's Un hiver à Majorque, was printed by hand [by Tomás Graves] at the New Seizin Press, Deià, Mallorca, in the autumn of 1986. The text was hand-set in Monotype Garamond and printed on a French cylinder press, 'La Pédalette,' which was brought to the island in 1911. The paper, made by Guarro, is Super Alfa (250 g.) which was dampened before printing. Nils Burwitz's etchings were printed, with the help of Karin Dando, at his studio in Valld[e]mossa using Creysse paper (250 g.) in 1984-5. Josep Roc[a]mora, of Barcelona, bound the box with 'roba de llengos,' woven in Pollença by Galeries Vicens"--English colophon.
