Summary
Unidentified host interviews songwriter duo, composer Jay Livingston and lyricist Ray Evans. They discuss their life and long-term successful collaboration in songwriting, and recall various well-known artists and producers they worked with. They talk about their work for various films such as The paleface (1948), Captain Carey (1950) and The lemon drop kid (1951), TV productions, and work habits. During the interview they perform excerpts from their popular songs such as Golden earings, Silver Bells (1951) and Mona Lisa (1950) written for various movies, and answer questions from the audience.
