Collection consists of taped interviews recorded between the years 1961 to 1964 with artists and others associated with Bobby Clark, a minstrel, vaudevillian, performer on stage, film, television and circus. Interviewees include Ed Ford, Mike Todd Jr., Tex O'Rourke, Sidney Blackmer, Bill Doll, Bert Wheeler, Al Tyler, Sid Stone, Irene Rich, Mark Wiseman, Ed Wynn, Frank MacDonald, Pat Harrington Jr., Allen Case, Tom Brown and his wife, George Shelton, Maurice Barrets, Flora Shafer, Lucitte Clark, Benny Rubin, Norman Rose, John Kennedy, Sid Marion, Bud Abbott, Lon Clarke, Edwin McArthur, Marjorie, Carmen Capalbo, and Bill (William D.) Lipton. It was collected and given to NYPL by William D. Lipton of Portland, Oregon.
