Cassette contains a BBC radio broadcast about the history of The Liberated Theatre (Osvbozené divadlo) in Prague, and its two comedic revue stars, George Voskovec and Jan Werlich. Voskovec and Werlich (aka V + W) were masters of modern political commedia dell' arte in Czechslovakia during the 1920's-1930's until the occupation of the Third Reich. Satirical songs and instumental music of Jaroslav Jĕzek was featured in their performances, including the pieces "Bloody moon rhapsody" from The mirage and "Dark blue world" from Dynamite island.
