  2. The first 30 sec. of "Mandala" (Disc 1) has no audio. On disc 2, there is an intermission of 2 min. between annoucements and the last piece, including audience noise. The last 40 min. of disc 2 contains audience noise (5:32) and no audio (33:49).
  3. At the end of disc 1, the performance of "Mandala" ends abruptly. Disc 2 begins with the last 4 min. 28 sec. of "Mandala" with some repeat of measures.
  4. Excerpts from this concert were also used to create the New Sounds radio program #381, broadcast on Oct. 30, 1989.
