- Summary
- This disc contains excerpts from the 6th APPAN International Festival-Symposium 2003, titled "The role of healing in Asian-Pacific Performing Arts II." The first 12 min. of disc 1 contain brief excerpts from talks delivered at the symposium, in English, Japanese and Korean; the longest excerpt is from "Mind-body in medicine and dance therapy in cancer patients," by Dr. Mison Chun. The remainder of the disc contains a complete recording of a performance program, including Indian, Indonesian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Zen dances. Disc 2 contains a recording of the same performances, filmed from a side angle with close-ups.
