- Stanley Aronowitz, professor of sociology, cultural studies, and urban education at the CUNY Graduate Center, discusses communist movements of 1930s in the United States with Gill Green, Josh Lawrence, Steve Nelson and Dorothy Healey, who were activists of CPUSA (Communist Party of the United States) at the time. They speak about trade union movements; the civil rights movement; the struggle against fascism, Nazism, racism and their fight for the human rights of the workers to obtain unemployment benefits and medical insurance.
