- Barry Day, editor of a newly published edition of the letters of Noel Coward, discusses Coward's life and work with hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins. They are joined by performer Elaine Stritch, who knew and worked with Coward, and critic John Simon. Topics include the dark subtext in Coward's supposedly light comedies, his international intelligence work prior to the Second World War, and his influence on younger playwrights.
